Goldband Snapper inhabits the waters of the Indian and Pacific Oceans and is a popular wild-caught marine fish worldwide. It features firm, thick flesh that is reddish-white in color. The skin is edible and becomes crispy when cooked—much like salmon skin. Once cooked, the reddish-white flesh has a flaky texture and generally contains a moderate amount of fat, though levels can vary depending on the individual fish.
