Parrot Fish

Parrotfish (named for their mouths, which resemble a parrot’s beak). The largest members of this group are found in the Indo-Pacific. They are herbivores or corallivores inhabiting coral reefs, rocky shores, and seagrass beds, and can play a significant role in bioerosion because some species feed on coral.
